I am honored to be a part of you and/or your child’s educational and learning journey; therefore, I take our time together very seriously. While we will be engaging in serious work, I expect that these sessions will be fun and/or enjoyable, which can only be achieved if we each adhere to a common set of behavioral expectations. While I believe every student deserves the opportunity to excel in their learning through personalized and individualized learning, rude, disruptive, belligerent, mean-spirited, or otherwise negative behaviors will not be tolerated. I absolutely reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who engages in willfully malicious, negative, or abusive behaviors.
Waiting List and Cancellations
As a one-on-one service plan, my business model depends on regularly scheduled appointments that rarely change; thus, there are other people waiting on a waiting list for that particular spot. If someone cancels, I will call the next person on the waiting list for that spot; therefore, I respectfully require 24-hour notice of cancellations in order to provide time for the next person to plan to fill the vacancy.
Cost, Scheduling, & Cancellations
My sessions are 60 minutes long and cost $60 each.
During the school year, each person is assigned a regular spot once per week. I teach Monday through Friday, 9 AM-5 PM. For permanently scheduled spots, I prefer to be paid once per month by the 1st of the month; for all other sessions, payment is due at the time of the session.
Declined Payment: All Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) checks will be charged a $35 fee for any form of payment denied by the client’s financial institution.

Covid 19 Precautions
Due to the potential for spreading illnesses, I am asking you to refrain from sending your child for face-to- face tutoring if you and/or your child exhibit any of the following symptoms:
Fever (100.4 F) or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, unusual fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, recent loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
- Further, my child has NOT been in close contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19;
- Has NOT had a positive COVID-19 test for active virus in the past 10 days;
- Within the past 14 days, a public health or medical professional has NOT told us to self-monitor, self-isolate, or self-quarantine because of concerns about COVID-19 infection
You will need to sign an attestation form attesting to the above.
Remote/ZOOM Sessions
If you would like to schedule a ZOOM tutoring session, that can be arranged as long as you request that via email or text by 5 PM at least the DAY BEFORE your scheduled appointment.
Payment Types Accepted
I accept Cash or Check (made out to Tailored Learning). I prefer to be paid once per month at the beginning of the month for permanently scheduled appointments.
